COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - The Coeur d'Alene Police Department responded to a bomb threat at the K-Mart on W. Neider Avenue Wednesday afternoon.

The call however appeared to be a hoax.

Police say K-Mart got a phone call from someone with a "thick accent" who said "I've placed a bomb in K-Mart" and demanded they put money on a pre-paid card for him. He said if they didn't he would blow up the store. Police showed up and found nothing.

Police said a K-Mart in Nampa, ID also recently received a similar call.

The scene is now clear.
