New Details on Sunday Accident in Helena

HELENA - New details emerging after Sunday mornings car accident that took place in Helena.  

According to authorities the driver allegedly tried to kidnap a woman before driving through a fence and landing on the interstate.

Thaddeus Deshner was arrested and had multiple warrants out for him.  Before the crash took place, Deshner reportedly grabbed a woman who was in her front yard shortly before 11am Sunday.  Deshner reportedly fled after the woman’s husband came out and confronted him.

It was not long after that that Deshner spotted a sheriff’s deputy and sped off crashing through the fence and flying 100 feet before landing in the interstate.

Deshner faces charges of attempted kidnapping, assault, a probation violation, DUI, and criminal endangerment.
