Throwback Thursday: Bloomsday Back In 1989!

SPOKANE, Wash. - Do you love the 80's? Do you love Bloomsday? This week's Throwback features some awesome footage from Bloomsday 25 years ago. Were you there? We'd like to know. The overall male/female winners in 1989 were John Halvorsen (his time: 34:21) and Lynn Williams (her time: 39:30). According to bloomsdayrun.org, 56,280 registered for the race, 52,457 finished.

Snohomish County prosecutors charged 52-year-old former nude dancer Carmela Panico with promoting prostitution and money laundering, alleging that she was the madam of drive-thru brothels throughout the county north of Seattle.More >>
