Teen Shooting Sparks International Media Buzz

Posted: Updated:
MISSOULA - The shooting death of Diren Dede has sparked a flurry of activity in social media and across international news sources.

We've been monitoring international Tweets and Facebook posts on the incident all this week.

One German resident tweets, "One should not break in to foreign garages, stop, especially if you are not a guest in another country." -Hakilon@Quaxo3

Another sympathizes, "god rest his soul." -Sezer Oztemir@treffergarantie

And one German asks the question, "What's he doing at night with a flashlight in a strange garage?" -info@thetruth

The story has splashed across national news sources, from the BBC and the Huffington Post.

And the teen's story has caused an uproar among citizens back in the Dede's home country.

It's made headlines in newspapers and TV stations across Germany and even farther abroad.
