YAKIMA, WA - A beloved restaurant in Zillah was destroyed by a fire Thursday night.

Firefighters say the fire started around midnight in the kitchen area of El Porton and spread quickly. A customer we talked with Friday says they're sad to see the restaurant go.

"I feel horrible about it," Kristina Gjersing said. "I really hope they get it back to new again and we could have our family things like normal. Oh I miss them already."

Firefighters do not suspect foul play was involved but they are conducting a full investigation. The building is believed to be a complete loss.
