KENNEWICK, WA - A 70-year-old man is arrested after allegedly pulling a gun on a husband and wife at the little league fields on Olympia Street over a parking spot. It happened on Saturday afternoon around 3:15 during several games.
Officers say John DeCarlo had been waiting for a parking spot for several minutes when a couple pulled into one ahead of him. The couple and several witnesses say DeCarlo then challenged the couple to move their vehicle before pulling out a small gun and saying he was going to shoot the driver.
The couple did move and DeCarlo took the spot. When Kennewick Police arrived, officers did find a gun in DeCarlo's vehicle. He was booked him into the Benton County Jail for felony harassment and is no longer allowed at the little league fields.
