PASCO, WA - A Pasco School District bus was involved in an accident, after the driver went the wrong way down a one-way street.

The accident happened around 9:00 a.m., Thursday morning, at the intersection of North 6th Avenue and West Yakima Street in Pasco.

Police say the bus driver was heading west on Yakima Street when she collided with another car. There were no students on the bus.

Jaime Ramos, who heard the crash from his home, says this isn't the first time this has happened on his street.

"Two to three times a day, cars come in here the wrong way, on a one-way, and nobody pays attention to it," said Ramos. "Even law enforcement, when they come, sometimes they don't even pay attention to the one-way. It's like nobody cares, but they forget that people live here. I got my 3-year-old son and other kids that play out here all day."

Both drivers are okay; their vehicles were damaged.

Officers say the bus driver will likely get a ticket.
