YAKIMA, WA - The line at Dutch Brothers in Yakima stretched out to the street Friday morning, but it was well worth the wait.

The coffee shop is donating Friday's proceeds to the Children's Miracle Network in honor of "Super Sam." 5-year-old Sam lives in Yakima. He was diagnosed with skeletal dysplasia before he was born.

"He's a fantastic little fellow," said Bethany Hashek, the Regional Manager of Dutch Brothers. "We sported these capes for him, Super Sam. He is just a big ball of energy and it's amazing."

Employees said they saw a record turnout and expect to raise thousands of dollars.

Everyone who buys a large drink Friday will also receive a loyalty card with nine of the ten stamps already punched for a free drink.
