PASCO, WA - A local family is hosting an online auction to send their 9 year-old son with diabetes to a special camp this summer.
Local businesses have been donating stuff, like bottles of wine, hairstyling, even a chiropractic visit and some food certificates.
Camp Stix is a week long camp for kids with diabetes.
They can interact with other kids with the disease and learn more about how to manage it.
But the camp is expensive and because the family is getting so much support, they want to help pay for another kid to go.
"There are so many kids in the Tri-Cities that share Colby's condition...like I said it's expensive so if we can even help pay for one other kid with the cost of going then we've accomplished our goal or even just made awareness in the community," said Marci Rose, Colby's Mom.
