Finalists Announced for 2013-14 Spokane Youth Sports Awards

SPOKANE, Wash. -

Nominations poured in and the finalists have been selected! Each category, including individual athletes, coaches, and teams, represent the very best in Spokane County. Award recipients will be named during a ceremony at 6pm, June 10, at the Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox.

This special category spotlights impressive athletes that are smoothly navigating life's bumpy road, bucking stereotypes and overcoming injuries. This new award will honor the following student athletes:

Spokane Sports Commission is proud to team with SWX and NWPREPSNOW to host a special awards show celebrating Spokane’s brightest talent in local high school and club sports. These prestigious awards recognize local coaches and high school-aged athletes for exceptional athletic performance as well their character, dedication, sportsmanship, and service. Public encouraged to attend. Tickets now available.
