Fatal Crash Kills Man Near Milton-Freewater

UPDATE/MILTON-FREEWATER, OR - Oregon State Police have released the name of the 22-year-old man killed Wednesday west of Milton-Freewater.

Troopers say Beau Tyree Zetzsche of Umapine was driving westbound along Highway 332 when he tried to take a curve and drove off the highway. The pickup rolled into a field and came to rest on its top.

Zetzsche was wearing a seatbelt but was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers say he was driving with revoked driving privileges and had outstanding warrants out of Texas and Oregon.

Oregon State Police are continuing to investigate.

Police say early Wednesday morning, the 22-year-old man lost control of his pickup truck on a curve along Umapine Highway near Triangle Station Road.

Troopers say the truck rolled off the highway into a field, and landed upside down.

Police say the driver was wearing his seat belt, but died at the scene. Troopers say they plan to release his name Wednesday afternoon.
