Yakima Police Looking for Missing Boy

YAKIMA, WA - Yakima Police are on the lookout for a missing child. 

Police say John A. DeLeon did not return home from school on Friday and was last seen skating on his board with friends near 1st Avenue and E Street. 

John is considered a runaway child at this time. He lives and plays on the east side of Yakima. John is a hispanic boy, about 4'11" and 100 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a green shirt with a red stripe, black shorts and black tennis shoes. 

At this point in the investigation, John is considered a "willing runaway." If you see John or know anything about his whereabouts, please call 9-1-1.
