    BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Miss Nevada Nia Sanchez, a fourth-degree black belt in the Korean martial art of taekwondo, has been crowned Miss USA 2014. She has beat out 50 other contestants Sunday night in Louisiana. First runner-up was Miss North Dakota Audra Mari. Erin Brady, of South Glastonbury, Connecticut, the 2013 winner, gave up her crown to Sanchez after a three-hour telecast from the Baton Rouge Civic Center in Louisiana.More >>

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - In case you missed the Miss USA Pageant on Sunday night, here are the 51 women who competed for the crown which ended up going to Miss Nevada, Nia Sanchez. This was 63rd Miss USA title and Sanchez will now go on to represent the U.S. at the Miss Universe competition later this year.

    BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - Law enforcement officers say they found 8 pounds (3.6 kilograms) of meth in a spare tire during a traffic stop in Stillwater County. The Billings Gazette reported Thursday that the officers said the man driving the vehicle claimed he had been visiting Yogi Bear in Yellowstone National Park before being pulled over.
