Yakima Man Shot In Both Legs Tuesday Morning

UPDATE/YAKIMA, WA - Yakima Police are looking for a 30-year-old man wanted in connection with a shooting early Tuesday morning. 

Officers say the man entered a home in the area of 9th Avenue and West Walnut and demanded money from a man inside the home. When the man inside the home, which was 32-year-old Marc Cole didn't pay up, the suspect pulled out a handgun and shot Cole in the legs. 

A blue car with multiple people inside was seen driving away from the scene.  Police believe they have identified the suspect - but they are not releasing a name at this time. 

Cole was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Yakima Police Department at 575-6212.
