NEAR PASCO, WA - A man from Spokane is arrested for the same charge twice in one day. Franklin County Deputies first encountered 29-year-old Ryan Lovitt early Wednesday afternoon in the area of Road 48 and W. Livingston Road. Deputies say Lovitt was in a stolen car and claimed to have swallowed several drugs to hide them from the officers.

Deputies then took Lovitt to Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco and waited until around 6 p.m. after charging him for possession of a stolen vehicle out of Spokane. Deputies then left the hospital and Lourdes staff released Lovitt. Deputies then encountered Lovitt again in the same area, near Road 48 and W. Livingston Road, around 11 p.m.

Deputies say Lovitt must have been released from the hospital sometime between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. Again, Deputies say Lovitt stole a car from the Rite Aid near Lourdes in Pasco. Deputies arrested Lovitt once again for a second time of possession of another stolen vehicle.

He is now in the Franklin County Jail.
