Plow Crews Reach Logan Pass

Posted: Updated:
WEST GLACIER - Glacier National Park's snow plowing crew finally hit the deepest snow on the Going to the Sun Road.

On Wednesday, West-side plows made it to the Big Drift at Logan Pass. Park officials don't have specifics, but it looks like the snow pack is deeper than the last few years.

Crews coming from the east side have reached the East Tunnel.

Right now, the Park can only say the Road will open up to Logan Pass sometime after June 20.
