West Richland's Largest Event, Hogs & Dogs, is This Thursday

WEST RICHLAND, WA - It's the biggest event of the year for the City of West Richland and you are invited. 

The 14th Annual Hogs & Dogs event is Thursday, June 16th at the Bombing Range Sports Complex, located at 3200 Bombing Range Road in West Richland. 

Organizers are expecting around 8,000 people and say more than 4,000 motorcycles will be on display. 

The West Richland Chamber of Commerce is also partnering with Combat Veterans International, a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting veterans, to raffle off a 2014 Victory Judge motorcycle. The bike is valued at $14,000. 

"We have a live band, a beer garden," said May Hays, the executive director for the chamber. "We have hot dogs this year, Papa Johns pizza--it's just a family event. We have a family area with bouncy houses and face painting--it's just something that everyone can do together." 

The event runs from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and is free to the public. The bike raffle is $10 per entry; the drawing is at 9:00 p.m.

Proceeds from this event help pay for other events put on by the chamber and funds scholarships for veterans.
