Firefighters in the Tri-Cities responded to a home on fire in Pasco Tuesday afternoon.
PASCO, WA - Firefighters in the Tri-Cities responded to a home on fire in Pasco Tuesday afternoon.
Pasco, Kennewick and Franklin County District 3 Fire Departments responded to the house with black smoke coming out of the front and back. Firefighters were able to keep the fire contained to the bedroom it started in, people inside the home were safely evacuated.
According to Pasco Fire Department Battalion Chief Dave Hare it was the quick thinking of the residents who called 911 and the quick, aggressive attack of the first responders that stopped the flames before the entire house was engulfed. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
