KENNEWICK, WA - People filled Columbia Park Sunday for some traditional music, food and dance at the 9th Annual Mariachi and More Festival.

Groups from all over the area traveled to perform including Pasco High School.

"Well it's really fun like to see people actually enjoy the music that we're playing it's really fun to see the smile on their face," said Brenda Garcia, Pasco High School Student.

The festival aims to share Hispanic culture with the community.

"We think it's great because it brings a bit of culture and business and with the Tri-Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce we really kind of like to combine both so this kind of brings those elements together, where you have a taste of different cultures, some food and music," Said Candelaria Mendoza, TC Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

"It's pretty great just knowing that we represent like a whole city...from our culture I guess, it's fun here," explained Obed Peraza, Pasco High School Student.

Organizers say although it takes months to get this event together, they look forward to it every year and they're already planning for next year.
