KENNEWICK, WA - A suspicious woman has a Kennewick neighborhood putting up a fight to protect their kids.

After a strange interaction involving a young girl, the people at Metz Mobile Home and RV Park are handing out flyers to warn neighbors of a possible danger.

A woman who lives at the mobile home park tells NBC Right Now that when she came outside one day last week to check on her daughter she found a woman trying to coax her child into going with her using ice cream and candy. The suspicious woman was told to go away and the mobile home park office was made aware that this woman was sleeping on a mattress in her truck in the neighborhood at night and walking the streets by day.

Since this incident the woman has been banned from the property. Police have responded to the park a couple times to find the woman but we are told she has since returned trying disguise herself with different clothing and is driving a different car.

"Getting to know your neighbors is the most important thing. We've spent a lot of time cleaning up this neighborhood. We know who they are and we don't want them here. We're involving the police, putting out notices and just involving everybody," said Michael Gallegos who works and lives at Metz and has been making up the flyers to raise awareness in their neighborhood. He thinks it is important that everyone in the area be aware of this suspicious woman.
