COEUR d'ALENE, Idaho -- Frontier Ice Arena will host Hockey Fest, a day of youth skills clinics and exhibition hockey game on July 11 featuring local professional players and NHL legends to benefit youth hockey in the area. With the sold out event and  limited seating in the Arena, SWX is proud to announce we will broadcast the historic game live on our air. Broadcast times are TBA. 

The  game will feature NHL legends, Wayne Gretzky and Brett Hull, and the Coeur d'Alene Lakers--captained by Tampa Bay Lightning star Tyler Johnson--will conclude a day of family fun. Gozzer Ranch, the home of numerous NHL players and alumni, is one of the main sponsors of Hockey Fest at Frontier. Many local players, such as Tanner Mort from the Spokane Chiefs and Tyler Mort from the Eastern Eagles, will join Johnson on the Lakers. Activities begin with a public skate from 1-2:30 p.m., followed by a Johnny Hockey skills clinic (kids 10 and under) with Johnson from 2:45-3:45 p.m. and Stick and Puck (18 and under) with Johnson and many WHL All-Stars.
