Drivers Should Expect Tieton, Summitview Closures for Resurfacing Project in Yakima

 YAKIMA, WA. - City of Yakima crews are working on a $15 million grind and overlay project.

Starting Monday and running through Thursday crews will close parts on and around Tieton Drive and Summitview Avenue from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Many streets will be periodically affected, you can view the schedule below:

- 40th Avenue between Fruitvale and Summitview – June 30th and July 1st
- Lincoln Avenue between 24th and 32nd – July 2nd
- 24th Avenue between Washington and Nob Hill – June 30th to July 2nd
- Tieton between 16th and 32nd – June 30th to July 2nd
- 4th Avenue between Tieton and D Street – June 30th to July 2nd
- D Street between 1st Ave and 2nd Ave – June 30th to July 2nd
- 3rd Avenue between Walnut Ave and D Street – June 30th to July 2nd
Detour routes will be in place so drivers can go around the closed portions of those
