KENNEWICK, WA - Despite a loss, local soccer fans filled Uncle Sam's Saloon Tuesday in Kennewick to cheer for their team all the way until the final whistle blow.

"I believe that we will win..." chanted dozens at the Uncle Sam's Saloon.

Local fans have been working to start a Tri-Cities American Outlaws Chapter, a supporter group for the USA National Soccer teams.

"With our mission...unite and strengthen...and that's what we're trying to do locally is bring other soccer fans and soccer players to come in here under one house...and thank goodness for Uncle Sam's Saloon they're letting be our chapter locally here," Jason Mokuiki said.

The group explained there are many soccer fans here in the Tri-Cities and in the state and would like to help them come together.

"In the Tri-Cities it's amazing the amount of kids that play soccer here all the way through high school a lot of our kids go on to play college ball and some professional. I mean Hope Solo came from Richland of all places," Jason Walters explained.

They said the group will keep supporting both the men's and women's national soccer teams as they take on more international tournaments.
