Credit card processing company introduces a new cloud-based POS system that works with Apple iPad.
FT LAUDERDALE, Fla., July 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading credit card processing and merchant services provider Aliant Payment Systems has launched a new point-of-sale system. Aliant POS is an iPad-driven, cloud-based computerized checkout network system that carries the functions and features of a server-based system.
The new product is available through Aliant's partnership with POS provider Shopkeep.com. Aliant POS is accessible through the Apple iPad, allowing merchants to run their businesses from a mobile device. Shopkeep will provide the actual cloud software, and Aliant will purchase and custom configure the hardware to meet each client.
"Aliant POS comes with a risk-free 30-day trial so businesses can try it out and see how it works for their specific needs," said Eric Brown, CEO of Aliant Payment Systems. "We'll provide and customize the cash drawers, wireless printers, iPad stands and other accessories to help them get up and running.
