RICHLAND, WA - Drums lines and bugle corps are competing at Fran Rish Stadium in Richland Sunday.

"Drums Along the Columbia" features groups from all over the country but also some local students, part of the "Columbians."

The "Columbians" are made up of students ages 14 to 21 from local high schools and some graduates.

They have been practicing since June and have been touring the area.

"It's really exciting because you get to go and you get to perform at all these venues and it's fun performing there, at the same time when you perform at your home show where you're based at, most of the people know about us...have friends or family that are in the corp so the crowd reaction is great," said William Eshleman, Drum Major.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the competition starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $18.
