Arson Investigation At Home of Walla Walla Animal Control Officer

WALLA WALLA, WA - Walla Walla police are investigating after an explosion early Tuesday morning at a house belonging to an animal control officer.

Officers believe someone set fire to Sallie McCullough's car around 5 a.m. along the 800 block of S. Division Street. There were then two explosions and the fire spread to the side of the home. McCullough was able to safely get out of her home along with her two dogs and cat.

Officers are now investigating the fire as arson.
