Man Sentenced to Prison For Murder on Yakama Nation Land

NBCRightNow.com - A 24-year-old man will spend more than 24 years in prison for second degree murder in January of 2013.

A U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Washington on Tuesday sentenced Ernest Lillie IV to prison after he plead guilty to shooting two victims. The incident happened along Kays Rd. on Yakama Nation land. One of the victims died and the other victim was able to tell Yakama National Tribal police who the shooter was.

Lillie eventually confessed to the shootings and plead guilty to second degree murder. When Lillie is released from prison he will be under court supervision for another five years.
