SPOKANE, Wash. -- Luke Tendler hit his fourth home run en route to a four-RBI night, Johnny Fasola collected six strike outs and his third save, and the Spokane Indians topped the Tri-City Dust Devils 5-2 at Avista Stadium in front of 4,813 fans.

Tendler had an RBI double in the first inning to start the scoring, but his solo home run in fourth inning tied the game at 2-2. His second double of the night – this one in the seventh inning – scored Eduard Pinto and Seth Spivey to put the game away for Spokane (19-8). Tendler has reached base safely in 14-straight games.

Fasola came on in the eighth inning to get the six-out save, and he did just that by striking out six Dust Devils. Fasola earned his team-high third save of the season. The 31st-round pick has tossed 8 1/3 scoreless innings this season, striking out 16.

Marcus Greene reached base safely three times – a hit, a hit by pitch and an RBI walk. Northwest League leader in batting, Spivey, added two more hits to raise his average to .385. Pinto added three hits to raise his average back to .325.

Indians starter Richelson Pena earned his fourth win of the season as he held Tri-City (11-16) to only three hits in five innings and struck out seven of the 19 batters faced. Pena was on the mound during two unearned runs. Jason Hoppe and Luis Pollorena combined for two scoreless innings.

The Spokane Indians will head on the road for the next eight games, with the next three coming against Tri-City in Pasco, Wash., and the latter against the Boise Hawks.
