SPRING, Texas (AP) - Officials say a gunman dressed as a parcel delivery man forced his way into his sister-in-law's suburban Houston home and shot her dead, along with her husband and four of their children.

Harris County Sheriff's Office says Ronald Lee Haskell has been charged with multiple counts of capital murder in the killings Wednesday evening. The 33-year-old Haskell is also accused of critically wounding a 15-year-old girl.

Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Ron Hickman says Haskell is married to the sister of the woman who was killed.

The sheriff's office said in a statement Thursday that Haskell demanded to know the whereabouts of his estranged wife. He held several children at gunpoint until more family members arrived home. Authorities say he then shot seven of them, six fatally.

He was arraigned on Friday.

A local Spokane family has connections to this tragic story. Juli Shogan first learned about the shooting on Wednesday and has been in disbelief ever since. After news of the 15-year-old survivor and Shogan's cousin, Cassidy, being discharged from the hospital, Juli and her sister are flying to Houston to be with their family and hoping bring a ray of light. Juli told KHQ on Friday:

Cassidy was discharged from the hospital today. If you would like to donate a Teddy Bear for "Bear Hugs for Cassidy". A donation site will be available on Monday July 14th from 10:00am until 3:00pm at Wound Solutions at 3807 E. Bismark Spokane, WA 99217 (cross streets are Freya and Francis). My sister and I will be flying to Texas and hand deliver the "Bearhugs" to Cassidy personally. Thank you again for all of your love and support. Attach a note of support to help Cassidy as she transitions through this tragedy.
