RICHLAND, WA - Over in Richland at the Columbia Foursquare Church they rocked their parking lot on Saturday.
A community block party was open to the entire public from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. A bouncy house, games, kid zone and a dunk tank kept the little ones busy. For everyone else there was plenty of good free food and if visitors were interested there was even the chance for free prayer.
"Essentially this is a block party for our neighborhood. We're just inviting the friends and family and neighborhood to come in and have a great time. As we've gone out into the neighborhood we're inviting them back in to say come and join us for a fun time and they're coming and doing that," explained Pastor Jon Brandstetter.
The church has been doing this for a number of years and they say they like to open their doors for some fun and to meet new people in the community.
