KENNEWICK, WA - Firefighters are still keeping an eye on the Hildebrand Boulevard fire that sparked around 3:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Fire crews say it burned about 100 acres of dry brush. No structures were harmed and no injuries were reported. Crews don't know how the fire started, but they do tell us these high temperatures in our area raises the risk for rekindling.

"Yes, we are in the mop up phase right now. We should be out here another hour, two hours, then we'll leave units out for another 5-6 hours to make sure  nothing has happened. From there, we'll send units out periodically to check on it," William Whealan of Benton County Fire District 4 told NBC Right Now.

Around 15 units and 45 firefighters responded to the Hildebrand Fire.
