RICHLAND, WA - When the bomb squad pulls up to your neighborhood, tensions can start running high.

It was a different story at the Richland Public Library on Thursday, it was all fun and games for the Richland Bomb squad!

Sergeant Kevin Berger pulled up to the library in the truck to show off the truck and the bomb squad's robot to some local kids!

"Show them all of our equipment, demonstrate the things we do and that we're not just someone to call anonymously. We're regular dads and guys too," Sgt. Berger explained.

The robot is about ten years old and earlier this year, it was sent off to get upgraded with new equipment. The robot has four cameras, x-ray and audio/ video. The upgrades are worth about $60,000.

If you have a group and you like the bomb squad robot to pay a visit, contact Sgt. Berger at the Richland Police Department.
