Kids World Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Champion In Studio

SPOKANE, Wash. -- Spokane's own Gerondrick "GT" Taylor, 6,  was named the Kids World Brazilian Jiu Jitsu champion at Coussoulis Arena in San Bernardino, Calif. this past weekend, July 19-20 and he visited with SWX's Sam Adams in the Fasteners Sports Studio.

GT took home the championship belt and two championship medals after defeating the field in his age group. Taylor trains at Derek Cleveland's Iron Lion Jiu Jitsu Academy in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. GT's father C.J. Taylor also runs GT-X Cross Training gym in Spokane Valley, Wash. GT is currently playing in an U-8 summer baseball league with most of the kids being two years his elder.
