Victoria Wynalda told police she was driving in the area of Kennewick Ave. and Vista Way with her six children in the car when she tried to change lanes, noticed there was a car in her blind spot and returned to her lane to let the car pass.

She told police when she got to the area of 4th Ave. and Olympia Ave. that same car pulled up next to her and a man in the passenger seat pulled out a hatchet and began swinging it around and yelling at her.

Wynalda watched the men pull the car into a parking lot at 1001 W. 4th Ave. and called police. Officers arrived and saw the suspect getting ready to leave the parking lot.

Police stopped the driver, Ricci Vogel and passenger Edward Bolt. Officers did find the hatchet on the floor on passenger's side.
