Pasco Police have released the names of the two officers who shot and killed a man early Tuesday morning. Pasco Police have released the names of the two officers who shot and killed a man early Tuesday morning.
UPDATE / PASCO, WA - Pasco Police have released the names of the two officers who shot and killed a man early Tuesday morning. 

Police say Officer Steve Thatsana has been with the police department for 11 years. Officer Nathan Carlisle has been with the police department for three years. 

Both officers will remain on paid leave while the Special Investigations Unit determine whether the shooting of 34-year-old Brad D. Jensen was justified.

UPDATE / PASCO, WA - The Franklin County Coroner has confirmed the name of the man shot and killed by Pasco Police Tuesday morning. 

34-year-old Brad David Jensen died at the scene of the shooting. 

We pulled Jensen's criminal history, and court records show he had been arrested 30 times in Washington state. The charges include assault, trespassing, DUI, theft and disorderly conduct.

PASCO, WA - We're working to learn more about an officer involved shooting early Tuesday morning in Pasco.Police say two officers shot and killed a 34-year-old man just after midnight, when he threatened them with knives and refused to cooperate. 
Officers originally went to the 4200 block of Desert Place to respond to a call about a disturbance involving a man with a knife.
The two officers are now on paid leave while the Special Investigations Unit determines if the shooting is justified. 
Police haven't released the names of the two officers, or of the man who died.
