KENNEWICK, WA - The Tri-Cities Fever announced Tuesday that team owner Teri Carr has exercised her option for the team’s lease with the Toyota Center. The Fever’s lease will be extended through the 2015 season.

The Fever has also started the process of exercising the contract option of Head Coach Adam Shackleford. His current contract runs through September 1st, and the team hopes to have the extension signed prior to that date.

The Fever also made a roster move by signing Offensive Lineman Mustafa Johnson from Florida Atlantic University. The 6’3”, 295 lb. lineman was born in Los Angeles and played high school football at Norco High in Corona, CA.

This past year the team celebrated its 10th season in the Tri-Cities, and the team is looking forward to adding many more, starting with their 11th season that will begin in March 2015.
