5-year-old girl dies in apparent accidental shooting

CHUBBUCK, Idaho (AP) - A 5-year-old eastern Idaho girl has died after being shot by another child in what police say appears to be an accident.
    
Lt. Bill Guiberson of the Chubbuck Police Department says the girl died Wednesday.
    
Police say emergency workers responded to a Chubbuck home at about 3 p.m. and took the girl to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, where she died a few hours later.
    
Names have not been released and police are investigating.

    MOSES LAKE, Wash. - A man who admitted to stealing a car in Moses Lake, then later stealing another car because the first car was stolen from him, was sentenced this week to three months in jail. iFIBER One News reports that 23-year-old Corbin Finigan pleaded guilty to theft in the first degree. According to court records, Finigan was initially charged with theft of a motor vehicle, but the charge was amended as part of a plea agreement.
