BENTON CITY, WA- Benton City held another Benton City Daze to celebrate the city.

The celebration is held every summer for the community for over 30 years.  The daze started Saturday morning with a breakfast for everyone.

There was also a parade right after the breakfast.

All throughout the day their park hosted vendors selling jewelry, pictures, and art.  Other activities like face painting for kids were also in the park.

“It's a time to celebrate the town and invite folks to come in, see the town, have some wine, a glass of beer, get out and see the vendors, do the dance, and get out and see each other,” said Benton City Economic Developer Randy Rutledge.

The kids participated in the Little Miss Benton City Pageant after the parade.  The Daze also had food, street dancing, and live bands performing.

The event was free to the public and lasted until midnight
