Woman in Argument Arrested for Driving Dangerously Near Pendleton

Posted: Updated:
PENDLETON, Ore. - A Kennewick woman is in custody facing multiple charges including reckless driving.

Umatilla County sheriff's deputies saw a white sedan driving dangerously Monday morning along Highway 11, seven miles north of Pendleton. The driver was weaving through traffic, some through no passing zones, and driving nearly 100 miles per hour.

A deputy pulled the car over found Sharlene Raynae Foltz, 48, with a very scared man in the passenger seat. Foltz told deputies she didn't know she was driving dangerously because she was in a very heated argument with her passenger.

Deputies booked Foltz into the Umatilla County Jail. They don't believe Foltz or her passenger were under the influence of intoxicants.
