NWL All-Star Game Ends In 0-0 Tie

EUGENE, Ore. - Tuesday night’s Northwest League All-Star Game turned out to be all pitching as the game went ten innings and ended in a 0-0 tie.

Two Spokane pitchers took part in the ten-inning shutout. Richelson Pena struck out the side in his lone appearance in the third inning. Shane McCain closed out the game for the north division pitching 1 1/3 inning with one strikeout.

In terms of the bats, Spokane combined for four of the five hits for the north division. Jose Trevino led the way going 2-4 with two doubles.

The Spokane Indians are back in action on Thursday, August 7th when the team returns to Avista Stadium to start a three game series with the Everett AquaSox.
