Ephrata man killed in rollover crash

EPHRATA, Wash. - A 71-year-old Ephrata man died in a one vehicle crash Thursday night south of Ephrata.

According to the Grant County Sheriff's Office, James Robert Tinley was driving a 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe southbound in the 10500 block of Dodson Road Northwest. Tinley’s vehicle crossed into the northbound lane. Tinley over corrected and the vehicle spun around off the road and rolled over 1-1/2 times.

Tinley died at the scene. Tinley was wearing a seatbelt but improperly. Alcohol is suspected to have played a role. The vehicle was destroyed.
