KENNEWICK, WA. - NBC Right Now has told you about multiple brush fires sparking in the median along State Route 240. Kennewick police are now asking for the public's help to put an end to these fires.

Since July 25th, the Kennewick Fire Department has responded to 15 fires between Edison Street and the Highway 395 roundabout. The fires have been confined to a small area of sagebrush and no ignition sources have been found.

If anyone has noticed a driver throwing something or material coming off a vehicle, call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.

If you notice a fire burning in the median, call 911 immediately. Do not stop and try to extinguish the fire yourself.
