YAKIMA COUNTY, WA. - The Washington state Department of Transportation has reopened part of Highway 12 after a mudslide Wednesday near the Rimrock Tunnel.

Crews closed the highway for about 8 hours as crews worked to clean up rocks, trees and other debris that fell onto the road.

The mudslide happened around 3 p.m. on Wednesday. WSDOT reopened the road around 11 p.m. Wednesday.
