SPOKANE, Wash. -- Indians starter Jason Hoppe allowed four runs in four innings, and Austin Pettibone allowed three more runs in his three innings, and the Tri-City Dust Devils hit a season-high 16 hits en route to a 7-0 shutout of Spokane in front of 4,777 fans at Avista Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Tri-City starter Logan Sawyer tossed six strong innings. He lowered his ERA to 3.13 as he picked up his third win of the season.

Spokane mustered six hits, three off them coming off the bat of Diego Cedeno. Cedeno went 3-for-3 with one double after he replaced right fielder Luke Tendler in the second inning. Tendler tried legging out a single, but awkwardly fell over first base. After further examination he entered the game defensively, but was then removed for cautionary reasons the next half inning.

Eduard Pinto, Josh Morgan and Isiah Kiner-Falefa each added a base hit. Morgan's was his first double of the season in an Indians uniform. David Perez tossed two scoreless innings to end the game.
