KENNEWICK, WA - A man from Kennewick is now in the Benton County Jail on charges of unlawful imprisonment.

Kennewick Police say 22-year-old Andrew S. Krom left a voicemail on his ex-girlfriend's phone Saturday morning, threatening to kill her parents, family and boyfriend.

Police say the next night, 22-year-old Rachael Boatwright met Krom in West Kennewick, and felt like she couldn't leave for about 5 hours. Officers say at one point that night, Krom threatened to kick Boatwright if she didn't get back into her car. Police say Boatwright was eventually able to drive away, leaving Krom behind in Richland.

Officers found and arrested him a short time later in front of the Target on Columbia Center Boulevard.

Police say Krom could also face charges of felony harassment.
