Authorities identify the young girl who died Sunday morning after falling into the Grand Canyon in Yellowstone National Park, as eight-year-old Zahra Allahyari.

The news comes shortly after the body of 22-year-old Yellowstone National Park employee Darien Latty was found over the weekend.

Allahyari was traveling with her family after she lost her footing and fell down a 550 ft. canyon.

With two Yellowstone deaths in one week, park officials remind visitors to read the warning signs posted near trail heads and to abide by all park rules and regulations.

Mr. Latty and 8-year old Zahra Allahyari account for the two of the three accidental deaths Yellowstone National Park has seen this year.
