Kennewick Man to Spend 15 Years in Federal Prison for Firearms Crime
SPOKANE, WA. - A Kennewick man will spend 15 years in prison for possessing a firearm during a drug deal.
A U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Washington on Friday sentenced Jerry Alan Reis after he plead guilty to the federal crime. A 60 month term of court supervision will follow is release from federal prison.
The investigation began in December 2013 when officers arrested Reis in Richland. Reis's backpack contained a loaded handgun, n electronic scale, and 17.1 grams of 99.4% pure methamphetamine.
