PASCO, WA - The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is extremely popular right now. But a local group of car dealerships claims to have done the largest one in the northwest Friday.

About two dozen people who work for the McCurley Stores of the Tri-Cities stood beneath the buckets of two front end loaders. They were then doused with around 1,000 gallons of ice cold water. Another local car dealership had taken the challenge, which prompted the McCurley people to take it a step further.

"When we get called out in a challenge from our friends up at the Toyota store, we accept that challenge, we want to participate and show them that you know what, we're going take it and we're going pass it on," said Craig Cavanaugh, General Manager at McCurley Chevrolet.

The McCurley team went on to challenge an auto auction company in Spokane and an ad agency in Arizona.
