PASCO, WA - A 23-year-old man is facing several charges after leading police on a chase Friday night. The Franklin County Sheriff's Office and the Washington State Patrol worked together to stop David Reyes, using spike strips to end the pursuit.

Deputies say it all began when Reyes would not pull over when officers spotted him as a possible DUI. He drove through Pasco, running stop signs along the way, and ended up going north on Highway 395. Deputies say the chase reached speeds of 90 miles per hour. Officers were able to set out spike strips near Mesa at milepost 36. Reyes drove over them and eventually stopped at milepost 44.

Officers impounded the vehicle Reyes was driving for evidence. Reyes is now in custody at the Franklin County Jail on charges of eluding police and driving under the influence. The investigation is ongoing.
