KENNEWICK, WA - Organizers at the Benton Franklin Fair & Rodeo say around 116,000 people came out to the five day event. The executive director for the fair says attendance was down by about one percent from last year, but food sales set a record on Saturday and the carnival had record sales for all-day ride wristbands.

Fundraisers at the fair brought in more than 11,000 pounds of food for 2nd Harvest.

The market stock sale raised $864,512.80 for the 4-H and FFA members, also setting a record.

The fair partnered with the Benton Franklin Humane Society for the first time this year, donating $1 from each reserved ticket sold to the Zendaya concert raising $856.

Prosser FFA students collected $1,912.26 at Thursday night's rodeo to go to the Tough Enough To Wear Pink contribution made each year by the fair.

CM Smoke took top prize in the BBQ Cook-Off, winning $500 and half a beef.

The 67th Benton Franklin Fair & Rodeo is set for August 25-29, 2015.
